My parents sent me to the airport... once at the airport.. dad started to bombard my boss's boss (haha - my boss's boss is a lady) questions about the trip and she had to constantly assure them i will be ok under her wing (i felt so embarrassed.. for god' sake i am already in my late 20s!! :X)
Luckily she was pretty understanding and told me everything was fine (regarding all the questionings) and she really did take good care of me through the 2 days trip!
The ppl in Manila are v friendly and v motherly!!! they really take gd care of us over there... they brought us out for dinner at a well-known western foodie plc they have there... had some red wine and chit chatted... had some desserts in the club room and went to wash up and slp...
the nx day, we headed to the Manila ofc.. culture shock! there are young chaps politely greeting us wherever we headed... so strange to hear ppl greeting.. gd morn mdm!! had lunch wif the motherly lady... the iced tea in Manila is the best... a tad sweet though but really refreshing taste.. we moved on to StarBucks where the rest of the grp were...they chit chatted while i stoned away and ppl watch... hahaha
She had us upgraded from the regular rooms to the club rooms... oh god.. the rooms are so gorgeous...
kindly dun mind my stuff laying aro... was preparing to bath when i just had to take photos of the pretty room....
pretty a not.. really like the pillows... felt like a princess on the bed!! hahaha.. and btw the beers are foc in these rooms!! hoho.. happily drank one can b4 slping... (i slept wif all the lights on.. i am NOT USED to slping alone!!!)
the pretty bathroom.. v well stocked... they are using lavin for the bath products!! :X
