Shopping Spree with Lena and Von

Ya i noe... we juz quarrelled and i still have mood to go out wif the gals.. but this one is pre-arranged liao and we like 3-4 mths nv meet so i went ahead to meet Lena and Yvonne... we headed down to Far East Plaza... it's been donkey years since i went to Far East Plaza... this clearly shows how sad me life is.. hahahaha wkends normally mahjonging.. (not me lo.. is dear lo.. me surf net only) or else go JB.. piangz...

Anywayz... hahahaha... we headed down to the basement level 1st... bought some snacks and drinks.. hahaha... is obvious they wanted to shop till the shops closed.. hahahaha.... i was telling Lena... today is i acc u 2 shop only.. me cant shop liao... (cos i purposely bring the Wetseal Spree # 1 stuff back on tat day.. plus Lena pass me my loots from GoJane Spree # 1... so it will appear i have too many stuff and subconsiously cannot buy anymore... but... it din work.. :( ) hahahaha... anyway Lena bought a dress at the 1st shop we went.. hahaha.. very fast rite...

We wondered aro and saw a very nice shop wif a very nice sales lady... she actually pulled out dresses that she tink we may like.. and true to her sharp eyes.. we LIKED... i bought the below.. the front is darn simple.. but the back so nice!!! it a tie back and slightly low back dress.. nice rite.. 29.90 only!!! Lena and Von also bought a dress ea.. :X

I saw tat Zstyle is still have its $28 storewide sale... (sale very long liao lo.. hahhaha) i bought this black dress cos.... the bottom very nice!!!! hahahaha....

Bought these 2 adorable ribbons belts!!! nice rite.. i showed the pic to Ting and Mic N... both said WE WANT.. hahahaha... cheap too! :X

My pretty accessories loots!!! die liao la.. tink i caught the bug from Winnie... keep buying accessories... but the necklace was like so damn cheap lo... hahahah the bracelet i did tink abt it.. cos it cost 12.90... plus i already have a pearl bracelet from F21.... but but but but the pretty bling bling ribbon called out to me........."BUY ME!!!" so buy i did... sighz

We managed to pscyco Von to buy the ribbon heels tat i had too.. hahaha.... the damage of Von was abt $130+ , Lena $80+ and me $80+... see la... din wan to shop.. end up spending also... Lena was saying... GALS... we shld not buy from online blogspots liao.. see in Far East can buy so many nice stuff and so cheaply too.. hahahaha :X

Lunchtime wif Ting & Winnieeeeeeeee

Sighz i tink i am on a major shopping spree lo.. shop n shop n shop... even meeting ting on (09/07) for lunch also can shop... but i tink we plan to meet to shop at Mitju (is it spell like tat i cant rem... but there have branches @ Tampines 1.. amk hub... raffles plc.. etc etc) hahaha... cos they have membership card if spend 120 and above and ting had her eyes on several pairs... but sighz.. in the end is only me spending lo.. bought this pair of grey heels.. i juz HEARTS the heels.. hahaha... lame i noe... pretty cheap too ... $28.90... how to resist!!!! :X

On the very next day.. i met ms winnie for lunch!!! weeee... i like meeting my gfs for lunch.. basically cos we can shop n shop n shop.. :X... i was a tad late so winnie went up to Raffles City to shop at Accessorize (again i am not very sure abt the spelling.. hahaha). Winnie currently is in her "i love accessories" mode... so she was happily diging for great buys.. there was a 50% off selected items... but the way the women are going at it.. u thot there is a FREE for ALL sale going on.. hahaha.. but they really have some nice stuff!! Below are my buys! a pearl necklace... was looking aro for one... after % was only $13.95... how not to buy??!! and a pretty lace thong at $5.45? hahaha... i love lacy stuff!!!

In the evening, i had to run an errand for boss at HarbourFront... sighzz.. sibei xian de lo... anyway after finishing my errands.... i went to walk abit... cos i rem passing by a shop tat sells really nice work clothes... so i went to look for it.. damn nice lo.. but not all nice la.. hahaha... i tried on some tops, dress and skirts... the tops cost from $29 onwards... the dress abt $59 onwards... but there is a 20% for dresses (and also for the inhouse designs).. the skirts also cost $29 and above... the catch... to get the tops and skirts at 29 ea.. u need to buy 3 and above... anyway.. the price is pretty cheap.. so hahaha i bought 4 skirts... the tops i tried... S too small.. M too loose.. sighz.. the dressess... hmm... not my type i guess.. hahahaha.. sighz.. i really need to stop spending!!! :X

I have this bad habit of buying clothes of the same design juz diff color.. but the cutting damn nice lo.. haiz... 2.. :X hehehe

Arguements

Recently me and dear... are going thru a phrase where we quarrel alot... he insisted tat i am picking quarrels wif him.. but the thing is... u keep picking on me.. y i cant save money... y other pple wife can do this do tat... y cant i slim down.. u noe... every wkend i hear this.. u tink i not xian? i also will sad de ma... haiz.. i cry also u say... sibei xian de leh.. :(

tink on the 12th July... it was one of our worse quarrels ever... we went over to mic's plc for manjong... *for me is sibei xian.. cos i dunoe how to play and i DO NOT have much interest to learn how to play* and i got to noe one pc of GOOD NEWS!! Michelle C is pregnant!! ... sorry sidetrack sidetrack.... so mic and i were talking abt pregnancy stuff... she was talking abt the cost.. blablabla... den she and hubby got some minor disagreement on the pain-reliving injection...

so i was telling dear tat they have some disagreement on the 500 bucks injection... den suddenly he said... y u so selfish de.. they got share money to pay de... and u dun chip in de lo.. den i stunned lo... haiz... ok la.. i admit.. i have ZERO savings due to the fact i am a SUPER SHOPPERHOLIC... den he ranted on tat i am a selfish person.. blablabla... i cant even get a word in...

haiz..sibei xian lo.. :(.. the quarrel was so bad tat it continued to after dinner... after i washed the dishes and went to cool down.. he continued ranting at me... sighz.. i got so upset i went to his room to cry... i nv felt so bad lo... i mean.. all the money issue can be worked out de ma.. how come he so pissed off abt it? i am NOT ASKING HIM TO PAY everything for me ma... i got no idea how come he become like tat *my gfs was saying mayb stress over money issues plus my parents pushing us to prepare for wedding ... so mayb he broke down when i happened to talk abt someone else money issues*

xianz... after an hr plus of crying den he came into the room... saw me crying and ask me go home cry.. shit man.. tat made me cry even harder.. he is juz like tat de lo.. sometimes too hack care... tat y i always tell him last time... i was too afraid to get married to him cos... i nv noe when he will flare up and ask me to leave the hse.. sighz...

den suddenly he say... mayb we shld break up.. i cant tahan every wkend quarrel wif u.. den u like tis.. i stun.. and cry harder again... haiz.. plus dun ask how to cry harder.. is juz gashes of tears lo.. cry n cry lo.. i din noe wat to do... but in my heart... i dunoe y i had this tinking.. if he nv propose to me.. mayb i will juz agree to the breakup... which bring to mind wat RAM said... he told him if he nv like 'confirm' me... i will leave him the following year... strange rite.. anyway... i did something stupid which got his attn... *young kids pls DO NOT FOLLOW THIS STUPID JIE JIE's action* got a pen knife and cut myself.. ya la.. i noe is stupid.. hahaha...

he was stunned and try to wrestle the penknife away from me... he managed and i juz kept on holding his wrists... initally he try to remove my hands den he juz left my hands there... so i tried to talk some sense into him la.. i din noe how much he actually understood la.. by the time he sent me home.. he seems normal...

the next day i din see him on msn.. i asked where is he.. he say he in meeting...

tue (14/07) my msn nick had the crying icon on it.. he asked me y crying icon... sometimes i tink dear v kuku head... v obvious ma.. so i told him u said u wanted to break up ma.. of cos i scared... den he say... next time ignore wat i said when i angry... haiz... but.. still... sighz... i dunoe... he proceeded to 'hong' me lo.. wif stuipd but cute icons...

i really am worried abt this relationship.. it juz seems so fragile at times and so firm and solid at times too.. :(

The Proposal

(30/12/08)

It was our 7th year anniversary... so he din really like u noe plan wif me wat he intended to do or go where eat... juz told me.. okie.. i pick u up at 5plus... -.-" Based on my previous experience.... normally we will go town or something .. either a resturant or some nice cafe... so i kinda of dolled up... a MNG tube dress and a pair of pretty silver pumps from Charles & Keith....

so when i headed downstairs to meet up... kindly juz imagine my shock when i saw him wearing 3/4 burms... and a long-sleeved T.... and SLIPPERS!!!! initally i thot he went to do something earlier on and picked me up go back his plc to change... cos he nv said a single word... from my hse car park.. he turned right... and he headed down Old Tampines Road... -.-""

den i asked him.. where are we goin?... he replies.. hmm some cafe by Changi Beach... den i looked down at wat i was wearing!! i was pissed off lo... i was like super dupper overdressed for the beach lo.. PLUS the fact... no flowers for me at all!!! SULKS... normally he will buy flowers for me on our anniversay... haiz... juz imagine my disappointment... basically i was busy getting mad and nv thot like he had something up his sleeve... so i actually sulk in his car from my home all the way to the cafe... it was a SMALL SMALL cafe only ... but service was pretty good and the food was great too.... hahahaha...

When we rch the carpark... he got down and started to do something at his car boot... i actually thot he will tada... ur flowers... to my sadness... he arranged something den say okie.. lets go find the cafe... T_T sad lo.... again my sulky face came up... we were rching the cafe when he suddenly say... i got locked the car a not ar??? -_-" i say i cant reply... den he went back to lock car again... tell u ar... i was already fuming mad liao... and when he returned.. his hands was still empty... haizzzzzz sad rite!!! SULKS....

We ordered our food.. 2 mains... one snack and one jug of beer... i was surprised at tat jug of beer though... cos he will always say.. beer so fattening.. dun drink so much... plus the fact he juz got his DARLING Honda Civic Type-R not long... (really... his car is his 1st love.. i am ranked somewhere below it.. T_T ) he din wan to get caught drink and drive ma... he wan to order beer i saod okie lo...

This is mine... some sausage set... pretty nice...!! the whipped potato below it was super nice... juz tat it had tons of onion (those rite on top of the sausage de)... i migrated those over to dear's plate... hahahaha

His main... lamb ribs i tink... or shank.. i cant rem.. is lamb something la... he like mutton alot de lo.. juz tat we dun get to eat it often.. hahahaha... tasted not bad... v tender meat....

We din take any photo of the side dish... tink he ordered prawn fritters... hahaha.... the waiters were v nice... asked us if the food was okie? changed our beer mugs to colder ones.. hahahaha damn good service la... i was like 'o' when he proceeded to pour our beer into newly chilled mugs... i was impressed la.. hahahaha...

the drawback was... when we rch the cafe... they were playing.......... TECHNO... so hence... the inital 30mins i was v darn pissed off.. hahaha... i tink abt 30 mins ltr or so... they changed the music...

We chit-chatted till abt 8plus... i actually sensed he was behaving VERY unlike himself.. hahaha... but i din give much thot to it.. and i was trying my best to IGNORE the fact tat i din receive any flowers.. :X and was being on y best behaviour aro him (he la... dun like sulky faces de... will quarrel wif me if i sulk too long... hahahaha)

so we proceeded to head back to the car... once i was on the car... i removed my pumps and sat myself comfortably in the seat... he again.. went to dunoe do wa at the car boot AGAIN.. i heard rustling of plastic bags... and i thot.. hmm.. dun tell me he give my the flowers now??? but when he came to the front of the car... still empty handed leh.. T_T....

Den he said... hmmm i tink my car boot nv close properly leh.. can go help me close... at this pt.. i stared at him den stared back at my bare feet den at him again.. he juz sat there lo.. waiting for me to go behind.. shit head lo.. i was tinking.. haiz.... VERY relutantly put on my pumps and walk to the car boot... i opened and i saw the below:-

I juz kind of stood there wif my jaws hanging open...den he walked over too.. and suddenly kneeled down... and my head was like looking back and forth at the display in the car boot and at him.. den some families walked past us and look over also.. hahahaha poor dear... den he say... dear dear will u marry me... i was still shellshocked la basically... jaws cant close liao.. den he paused for sometime... den said... arr.... very tired leh.. u wan me to kneel how long???

den of cos said YES la.. den come the nx part.. he asked me.. den this ring put on which finger... *silence* den i replied... actually i also dunoe leh.. hahahah stupid rite the both of us.. hahahahaah.... den we headed back to his home... his sister beamed at me and said... he proposed liao ar.... the ring nice... hahahaha (cos he enlisted his experienced sister's help in choosing the ring and to get more % hahaha... his sister got alot of contacts ma..) and his mum also beamed at me.. hahahaha

The full set!!! hahahaaha there was a pendent as a gift wif purchase of dunoe how much... in the car he asked me.. ur this diamond pendent how much.. i replied... tink 200-300 only... den he said.. this pendent is sapphire de... change to this one instead... NOW... -.-" ok lo.. change den change ma... dunoe y he so insisted on me changing it.. hahahaha

My roses and the beautiful glass rose... abt the glass rose... he was saying, this rose ar muz specially buy de leh.. OOS very fast de leh.. muz reserve de... (implying that he has given much thot in getting the stuff) hahahaha

More pictures of the roses... cos... whenever i tried to dry more roses... EVERY SINGLE time failed.. haiz.... tink my area too "humid" roses will rot no matter how dry the air is... sadness lo... mayb also cos my hse no aircon de.. hahahaha

Actually i also dunoe y i nv suspect he was gonna propose soon... cos for the previous 2 mths... i keep listening him talk abt his research on diamond... whish is the best cut... the grade.. blablabla... listen till i xian.. hahahahaha...

i cant ask for much surprise on the proposal cos... he is one guy very easily pai seh when doing public display of affection de... hahaha and he insisted tat he is the 1st guy to propose out of the car boot... hehehehehe

Friendship

I am currently going thru a period in which i really appreciate my dear friends and i do noe they appreciate me too!!! hehehe on Monday (06/07)... the heels i wore totally rub my ankles raw!!! till today... one week plus ltr... the marks are still there!! sighz... so i was juz trying my luck... i sms winnie and ting if they wan to meet for lunch at bugis (more variety of shoes there)... initally ting reply... she cannt lunch too long.. cos she had to leave for a meeting at two PM.... winnie has a meeting at two PM.... they ting said... she will try to push the appt ltr and winnie say she will still meet me...

it juz a small action.. but i do appreciate it!! I bought the heels below.. nice rite!!!!

I really really like this pair of heels.. darn sweet and not too high (which was so not me as i really much prefer towering heels.. hahaha) Ting was like i wan to get also!! but no size for her... hehehe...

In the end... ting was a wee bit late and winnie was like ultra late for her meeting... thank u my gals for accompanying me at ur own expenses!!! :X

Jun... too... surprised by texting me on Sun (05/07).... she was erhmmm crying and it was a shock.. she had a quarrel wif her hubby and needs a listening ear... mayb i was the nearest to her (as in i live pretty near her) or whatever the reason may be but i was touched tat i wasn the 1st one she thot of... to talk to....

had a long long talk wif her... and dear came to pick us up so tat ms jun can have her late late lunch... then they started the topic of exercise... i believe my eyes glazed over a couple of times during the conversation.... hahahaha

but she did cheer up after the meal and we gave her a ride home... and her hubby was at home... the 3 of us was like.. WAH!!! shit... hahahaha but apparently after we left... they made up liao... hehehe

jun was still saying tat in the past it was i who will call her when i was crying... and tat day was the other way round... bish... dun nonsense la... as long we are there for ea other can liao rite... kuku head....

come to tink of it... we have been frds for like... 20 years!! oh god... :X

Hahaha... on her wedding day.... (last time my make up skill not so good la... dun laugh at me... ) She was like wearing a 4.5 in heels and me.... on bare foot lo... hahaha... she is very petite!!! hehehehe

Is me and my gals loots from La Senza... they were having pretty good offers!!! 10 undies for CAD25... CAD9.99 Bras and LoungeWear from CAD8.50.... pretty rite!!! i really really love the lingerie from La Senza... very sweet designs and lacey lacey too! how not to love??? and erhmmm cos so far not much brands which are affordable have my size... triumph dun have my size and i dun like the size of their cup!!!

Hehe.... all wrapped up to be picked up by the gals!!! i so wanna buy online again!!! sighz... but seriously i shld not be spending so much... although it is ridiculously cheap compared to the Singapore branch! During sale also hard to find these lovely designs!! i tink the best time to get them in Singapore is like during those expo sale or warehouse sale... inhouse sale the max i tink was like 40% off?? but of cos in sg u get to chose from more designs...

But those online.... i nv see them in sg b4 also.. hahahaha....

(4th July 09)

I was pretty tensed up over tue (30 June) incident... i was afraid to meet u and listen to ur hurtful comments... but strangely it turned out to be a pleasant wkend... dear picked me up abt 5plus... and we headed to Tampines 1... he wanted to explore new places.. haha... and nv been there since it opened... held hands like sweet young lovers... it's been some time since i felt this way... it was well... a peaceful outing.. no hurtful comments or whatever... i take it he felt he went overboard on tue...

Tampines 1 really had loads of shops... kind of like a mini-orchard road... hahaha.... i am a sucker for cutsy stuff and we came upon a Disney shop... and they have tons of adorable Disney characters stuff... i bought a mini Marie storage box!!... darn cute lo...

Cute right!!! We had dinner at this Jap restuarant on the 3rd floor i tink... it has the same concept as marche or known as village now... u will get a card for the vendors to enter in the amt.... pretty interesting.. the biz there was pretty good... but for the food and the price... it was only so-so...

Well the lovely-dovelyness carried on to sunday... i really felt happy and contented these 2 days...

When to stop helping??

Yeks... i guess i am juz a one stop ctr to u rite?? I already left the company for like 11 mths?? u are still calling me and asking things like.. u noe who this vendor is? the material? this file put where liao ar? this issue u still rem?

u noe.. i was darn afraid tat u will blame me like u blame the others... leaving w/o a proper handover... the whole bloody issue was.. i got NO ONE to hand over TO!! pls be fair to me... i will entertain as much as i can.. cos i treated u as a frd... when i notice u put some depressing msn nick.. i will either drop u a msn msg or call u...

but... i tink u din treat me as a frd.. juz an ex-collegue who is ur one-stop ctr... some1 u call when the sales/management got some qn to ask... i am NOT OBLIGED to answer those questions.. and BEAR in mind.. i DIN bug my predeccessors de lo... mayb for the 1st 3-5 mths there will be many qns.. but after tat.. i DUN BUG them... i HUNT for the answers myself.. mayb now u dun see my previous job as so easy... i managed the customer svc team.. the prod team.. the store and in charge of the major accts... i can handle them relatively well...

if i am not wrong.. all along u din tink i did much... so to hell wif it.. i am not gonna answer any qns... since u are so hardworking... and DO a lot.. pls search for the ans urself... i am done... i am so disappointed wif ur actions.

Friday (03/07/09) wif my babes!!!

I juz love meeting up wif my gals... somehow or rather... they get my mind off unpleasant issues... lunchtime.. i met up wif ting over at raffles plc mrt... SouthHaven is having their moving out sale... so ting and i headed over to take a look... (note: i will so miss SouthHaven lo... cos they do have regular sale at the raffles plc outlet... they will be moving to Ion Orchard... sadness). Previously i already bought 2 dresses from them... Cute rite... basically these 2 dresses ting also have... hahaha... we bought together... our taste in clothes are pretty similar... juz tat she is a xs-s size and i am a m size... :( ... hahaha

Below are my loots for tat day... a hot pink top... (ting also have this... hahaha) and a simple tank top wif a v-necked ruffle lining... ting keep saying very nice for clubbing.. -.-" hahahaha.... we shop for so long tat we had like only 30mins for lunch.. so grabbed a quick lunch at MOS burger... (sidetrack... i am totally in love wif their corn soup and mos bread... ting was saying this is like a cheaper version of SOUP SPOON... keke)

Met winnie and ting after work to head to the Robinson Sale at Expo!!! Read from some beauty blogs tat there were some great deals going on... and we so NV regret heading down... i tink we rch juz b4 7pm and we left abt 10.10pm? hahahaha... record leh... juz shopping at a single sale at a single location... the gals are happy wif their loots!!! we sat down outside the hall and mulled over wat to do... (for like 30mins lo.... they cant make up their mind!!!) we ended up at ting's plc.... nearest ma... tampines.. hahaha... ordered mac... -.-" felt so guilty eating this.. but i juz ate till i not hungry and persuaded the gals to help me finish up... hahahaha.... spent some quality time wif them... i actually really glad to have them as my frds.. :).. though we have many misunderstandings.. hahaha

Charles & Keith are like raising the prices of the stuff lo.. so... 29.90 is like totally cheap! and i was like mad happy lo... initally wanted to get only one bag... but... sighz.. the other bag was like... "BUY ME!!!" so haiz... lugged 2 home..

- 3 thongs/g-strings!!! 5 for $10... cheap rite... ting bought 2.... ting was like... "i am so amused lo.. u can actually go thru like 6 carts of misc/darn untidy/messy undies and u can find nice ones!" initally i was there by myself and she was wondering aro looking at other stuff... i was like showing her wat i picked out.. she said it was nice and ask me to help her pick out too.. hahaha.. but it was no joke la... 6 carts leh... i managed to pick out 10 nice ones and we reduce it to only 5... hahahaha

- Stila all over shimmer at $12 only!! sighz... i din checked b4 getting it... upon opening it at ting's hse.. it was a mess... cracked already... T-T... sadness lo... so ting suggested using a spoon, a tweenzer and some tissues to make it compact again... the outsome is below.. nice rite... but abit flaky... the brush will pick up a tad too much as it is very loose now.. sighz... see la... nx time check all prdts b4 paying up...

(which was like 2 busstop away) .... den from my workplc to the tanjong pagar mrt... den walked the long passageway to outrum mrt and all the way to kovan mrt cos i now i cant lug it from hougang mrt to my home... (which was like a 10-15mins walk???)... so rode a bus from kovan to my hse... hahahaha

but the wooden rack was like so darn nice lo!!! hehehehehe and the 3 tier box very sweet... hehehe.... so happy lo...

Wee.... i won free tickets to watch Ghosts of Girlfriends Past!!! I tink i won it at Bugis Junction... they have this sure-win lucky dip if u spent $120 and above...

It was pretty touching i guess... i tear during the ending of the movie.. hahaha... nonsense rite i... some pple mentioned the pick up lines are lame.. but it was lame-funny... cos u cant believe some1 will actually use those pick-up lines!!

But sighz... it was a darn unhappy day... as the tickets can only be use from mon-wed... me took 1/2 day and bf took full day (exercise freak)... it was the most miserable leave i ever took lo... we met at bishan junction 8... initally the plan was after the movie... he sent me back to his hse while he go to finish up his assignment.... but when he met up wif me... he say... i tink after the movie... i send u home so u can exercise... -.-" cos u wait for me at my hse also like waste time... piangz... it went downhill from there lo... we went for lunch.. during lunch he ranted and ranted abt my non-existence wgt-loss (idiot i did lose wgt la... u are juz darn picky).... i was already very xian... and it went on for like hmmm 30-40mins? he is the only guy i noe who can rant for so long lo...

headed to the cinema... sighz... i kinda of CANT control my tears... have to keep turning my face away from him while i mope up those tears... during the movie.. i made NO attempts to cuddle up wif him... cos normally i will cuddle up wif him cos i was afraid of cold... i tink during some pts in the movie.. he glanced over at me... sighz.. u wanna blame me meh.. u juz scolded me... u cant expect me to smile and everything is fine rite...

after the movie... we took a walk round Junction 8... i juz wanted to go home at tat pt... ultimate xianness already.. :( .... i rch home abt 5pm... i tink my parents dun even dare to ask me how come i rch home so early due to the blackness of my face...

aro 8pm... he sms me... love u dear... so wat u wan me to reply??? u scolded and ranted at me... u made my leave a waste.. i was so upset lo.. rch home is cry n cry n cry... sighz... i din reply cos i dunoe wat to reply...

8.40pm... he sms me y i nv reply and say i ignore u... -.-" lameass leh u... sometimes i tink ur brains shut down after 6pm...

sighz... and i was so happy initally to meet u... :(

Day 8 - Clinique Trial!!!

Hoho.. wanted to post earlier but was stuck wif tons of last min work.. :'(

juz wanted to jot down my thots on the prdts...

I am a gal who is kinda of use to using a facial wash wif tiny beads to exfoliate every nite (is those gentle kind.. meant for everyday use) as i do put on makeup to work... so was tinking at nite... better wash it the face cleaner... so at first i thot the liquid facial soap will not work as well as the exfoliating gels.... but to my surprise... it work juz as well... my skin is still clear w/o too much blackheads or pimples! although the smell takes some getting used to...

the toner i totally loved cos it dries very quickly and i can apply my serum and moisturiser w/o waiting. There is still tat strong alcohol smell though... hahahaha

next up is the moisturiser... i totally hearts this too... hahahaha... it absorbs 1st.. my face is really less oily... (based on the fact that i use less blotters now... hahahaha) and u only need two tiny dots for the whole face!! it spreads really well too...

basically the whole set works pretty well for me and i am a happy happy gal!! once i use up my facial prdts (i guess this will take some time.. i have tons of facial prdts.. thx to my hamster behaviour.... store and store and store... :x)... i will get the clinique prdts!! the other time i was at the counter... the consultant was telling me there is this pore-shrinking mask!! but there was no more samples left.. she wanted to pass me a sample to try...

I tink is this one... mayb i can get this too.. hahahaha.... :X

Surprise in a White Bag

Weee... i was asked to pick up a bag of goodies from Tangs Beauty Hall... guess wat is it??

Tada... a 3-Step Full Sized set!!! Yippee.... when i received the email.. i was beaming away... *basically cos juz nice... my moisturizer is running low.. i use separate ones for morn and nite... my morn's moisture is running low!* I got this bcos i join the http://projectmakeover.herworld.com/ . Basically, i had to email to indicate that i would like to join and i have to pick up a 2-day sample of the set above. The consultant will help to analyse my skin type and pass me the correct samples to use. Once i finished the sample, i have to write down my thots on the samples.

There was 150 Full Sized sets to be given out... i am one of the winners!!! hehehehe... below is descriptions of the 3-Step products and my thots on it... today is the 1st day i am using the Full-Sized Set....

Step 1 - Cleanse with Classic Bar Soap or Liquid Facial Soap.

~ Nothing removes dirt and oil like soap. It is the best

cleanser. The Clinique soaps are formulated for different

skin types. Two of them have added emollients to comfort

normal to dry or very dry skin and one is oil-free and

contains methol to cool and throughly cleanse oily skin.

They all have a very low lather for easy rinising and leave

absolutely no residue.

I received the Liquid Facial Soap - Oily Skin Formula. It has no smell... juz a tad plastic smelling... but mayb is me... i am kinda of used to nice smelling prdts! It cleans pretty throughly and it does have a cooling sensation!


Step 2 - Exfoliate with Clarifying Lotion or Clarifying
Moisture Lotion.

~ The skin's top layer replaces itself everyday. With aging,
this process slows down.

~ Exfoliation is really the difference-making step in the 3-Step Skin Care System. It increases the times it takes for
skin cells to renew and promotes the renewal of the surface
skin layer.

~ Exfoliating twice a day with the appropriate Clarifying Lotion helps
: uncover skin's natural radiance
: preps skin to accept moisture better
: helps control excess oiliness, unclog pores
: soften fine lines
: evens skin tone

I was given Clarifying Lotion #3. It has a pretty strong alcohol.. it could be due to the fact tat this is for oily skin. But is does feel good on the skin and drys very fast... but skin feels clean... a v strange feeling.. hahahaha

Step 3 - Moisturize with Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion or Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

~ It is a time proven, tried and true formula which has been refined to be a stable adn exceptionally efficient moisturier with no irritant potential. It helps the performance of anything worn over it and it is the perfect balance of water and oil, which mimic the moisture balance of healthy skin.

~ Hydrating the skin causes pumping of the epidermal cells so they look fuller and healthier. Skin becomes more supple and we apply a protective layer to the skin.

I received the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (Oil-Free Gel). It feels good!! hehehe... everything feels very absorbed... hahaha... i noe it sound strange but it feels tat way. My skin din feel so oily... cos normally by the time i rch my wkplc in the morn... my face is like darn oily liao and makeup will smudge... but today it feels better....

I was informed to use these prdts for 2 full weeks minimum and to write a mini report to submit... i will put it down here too!! So we sure see if the set is worth the money! tink the set of 3 prdts cost roughly $120?

Butter Factory!!!

Haha.... Butter Factory been aro for awhile and i only been there twice... the pics below are from the 2nd trip to Butter... hahaha... we managed to cut the long snaking quene thanks to Winnie's frd, Johnny! I tink we rch abt 11plus... and her frd came to look for us... he juz brought us to the front of the quene and say come come... walk here... sibei pai seh lo... cos... arhmm... the quene under the member, table list and normal entry was darn long and everyone was staring... wat's more we so unglam... carrying our shopping.. hahahaa... but of cos the feeling was great la... dun need quene or even rch early! :X

This time round... we were in the other room... seriously i dunoe wat the rooms are called... there are 2 rooms over there... one was play rnb, hip hop music.. and the other retro den trancey music... arhmmm late late into the nite.. some techno... hahahahaha.... at least the techno is the classy kind.. :X

The actual fact was we wanted a table in the other room!!! sadness lo... :X hahaha... Mr. Johnny say, "arh... my 1st time here leh... u all la... nv say wan where .... how i noe here got 2 rooms... u all only say wan a table... hahahaha" oh well... got table better den no table so pathetic la.. :X

But the music there was not tat bad... ltr into the nite... tink abt 1plus am? it got more packed... hahaha... and pple aro us are dancing... and we were like playing games.. cos the guys say... "u all buy drinks nv drink de ar... see can liao ar.." hahahahaha.... cos i tink our grp was a tad too big and some dunoe the others.... so abit quiet... but after the games started... we got abit rowdy... hahaha.. but all in all.. was pretty fun....

Winnie pulled me to the dance floor... sibei pai seh lo.. cos tink 2plus liao.. den dancefloor not so many pple... and this guy came up and say "u dance not bad leh...." i juz smiled... i din noe wat to respond... am i supposed to say... "arhmm.. wanna dance wif us?? " hahaha lame la.. i noe.... den missy elaine kept saying wah... so sexy u dance... I NV dance v sexy leh!!! hahaha.... oh well....

We rch Butter at 930pm lo... cos Winnie's collegue say... wah.. u all wan go Butter ar... better go early... cos the quene is damn fucking long... hahahahaha... those were her exact words.... ya... and indeed it was long... imagine la... they start up the booth i tink abt 945pm? and immediately a quene was formed lo... -.-" sighz... and we waited like... 45mins? before we can go in.... and the sad thing no TABLE for us... haiz... so we had to "borrow" table till the owner comes....

boring was the word to describe tat nite... insanely boring.. we stood aro like mannequinns lo... sibei xianz... so when bored... we drink.. and ms winnie pretty soon got high... and the nx time i noe... she was on the platform dancing.. hahaha... cute leh.... but her frd brought her down pretty soon.. cos the platform was getting crowded....

The owner of the table came and we have to move our drinks to somewhere else.. so pathetic lo.. haiz... and after some games... i got bored and pull my gals to take photos... hahahaha
